- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆I had the beetroot cured salmon dish and it was mediocre at best. For such a wonderful sounding dish it had so much promise as I read it off the menu. After receiving the dish I was bitterly disappointed. The salmon was absent of texture and bland in terms of flavour. You had to have half of the salmon on the plate to taste any sort of beetroot and much the same with the wasabi mayo. Had heaps of promise and was missing the passion behind the dish. It was not only I that received an average dish everyone I was there with received relatively tasteless food presented nicely.
